{"id":55,"date":"2026-01-14T03:55:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T03:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indoortenniscourt.com\/?page_id=55"},"modified":"2026-01-14T03:55:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T03:55:26","slug":"directions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/indoortenniscourt.com\/index.php\/directions\/","title":{"rendered":"Directions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Directions to the Indoor Tennis Court in East Providence, Rhode Island:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Route 95 North and South, and locations West of Providence:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take Rt.195 East to Exit 4 (Taunton Avenue \/ Route 44).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay to the left on the exit ramp and follow the sign (Taunton Avenue \/ Route 44).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go past the first stop light at the intersection of Taunton Avenue and Purchase Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take your next left onto Ivy Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the first stop sign, go straight, crossing over Waterman Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take the next left onto Blanding Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Indoor Tennis Court is the first building on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 Blanding Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"360\" height=\"380\" src=\"https:\/\/indoortenniscourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/map.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-56\" style=\"width:592px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Due to reconstruction of the Washington Bridge and the relocation of Route 195, at times it may be necessary to use an alternative route. In the event that Exit 4 is closed, you will need to use either exit 5 or exit 6 as an alternative.<br><br>For Exit 5:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take Exit 5 (Warren Avenue).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the exit, turn left onto Warren Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take the next left onto Potter Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the stop sign, turn right onto Taunton Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the traffic light, take your first left onto Ivy Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the first stop sign, go straight, crossing over Waterman Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take the next left onto Blanding Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Indoor Tennis Court is the first building on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 Blanding Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Exit 6:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take Exit 6 (Broadway)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Warren Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proceed straight passing through 2 traffic lights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the third light (Crosswalk), take a right onto Purchase Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of Purchase Street take a right at the traffic light, and turn onto Taunton Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take your next left onto Ivy Street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the first stop sign, go straight, crossing over Waterman Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then take your next left onto Blanding Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Indoor Tennis Court is the first building on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 Blanding Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From locations East of East Providence:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take Route 195 West to Exit 6 \/ East Providence Route 103 &amp; Route 44.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the exit ramp take a right turn onto Broadway.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go straight on Broadway and stay to the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go under the underpass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take your next left onto Central Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take your second left onto Ivy Street. (The first street is James Street)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take your first right onto Blanding Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Indoor Tennis Court is the first building on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 Blanding Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Providence&#8217;s East Side (Heading East on the Henderson Bridge):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take the first exit, (this is the Waterman Avenue Exit, however there is no sign).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the exit ramp you will be on Massasoit Avenue and heading North.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Massasoit Avenue ends, the road turns left, you are now heading East on Waterman Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The third street on the left is Ivy Street.
